A landscaped terraced field consisting of 60 level electric pitches, many with panoramic sea views.
Facilities
There are 2 modern amenity blocks both with free hot showers, an accessible/family shower room and washing up facilities. One block has a laundry room – with washing machine and tumble dryer. A play area with swings, a climbing frame and football goal is provided to keep the children amused.
Dogs welcome
We like dogs and have therefore allocated Byworth Meadow for those who don’t want the family pet to miss out on the fun! All we ask is that our canine guests are well behaved, not left unattended and kept on a short lead at all times. They must be exercised off the site – there are farm tracks nearby suitable for this. Up to two dogs can be accommodated on a pitch.
There is a railway track at the bottom of this field along which a 2 carriage passenger train runs on the Bittern Line (a branch line, not Intercity!) from Cromer to Sheringham and Norwich. There is no access from the campsite to the railway line. It runs from 6am until midnight. Very few people find this a problem but we are just making you aware!

“I wish there were more stars to rate this place. The place is fantastic and is any kind of campers’ campsite. Very large spacious pitches, with or without electric hookups. Large modern very clean toilets and shower blocks which were plenty enough for the campsite. I could write so much but I don’t want to tell everyone in case there’s no space for us to return! A hidden gem of a campsite – 10 mins walk from Cromer town centre and 15 mins walk from east Runton beach, which offers amazing sunsets.”
